Hey y’all! How was your weekend? We split our time between OC and LA, family one day and friends the next. We’re going pescatarian for the month of June (meaning no meat or poultry, just fish/shellfish), so we got some yummy sandwiches at A Market in Newport Beach on Saturday. Mine had goat cheese with a bunch of veggies; Curt’s was a classic tuna sandwich. Yummy! A Market is a superbly curated little spot. Aside from all the gourmet meats, cheeses, wines, etc., they sell stuff that’s just plain cool. We finally scored some of those Whiskey Stones that we put on our wedding registry but didn’t get. Those beautiful strawberries are not from A Market; they’re from Whole Foods. They were just so darn pretty that I made Curt take a nice picture of them.

And we took some portraits of Beans!!! He’s got a ton of personality but he’s very camera-shy… we’re working on it.

Hey y’all! Hope you had an awesome weekend. Ours was fairly quiet- went down to the OC to visit the family, ran some errands, ate some good food. Guess what…we’re in the early stages of adopting a dog! Got the home visit scheduled for next week, then hopefully we’ll be adding a third member to our little family!! We’re going medium-sized, though… we just don’t have the room for a giant St. Bernard like the one we saw in the Orange Circle this morning. The owner said he was only 10 months and already 146 pounds!!! Crazy sauce. In other random animal news, Speedy de Tortuga (the tortoise who lives with Curt’s parents) dug under the fence and almost escaped today! Naughty tortoise.
