I think that quote pretty well sums up the tone behind much of Brighton based illustrator Matt Taylor’s work. Even though he’s across the pond, Matt is able to harness the some pretty strong American archetypes. His illustrations have a vintage feel from an era gone by shown though a postmodern lens. Hope you had a great weekend! Ours started off with a bang. We got a new apartment in the westside!!!! Woooooo! Posts to come. We had some amazing weather Saturday here in LA. Jess and I stopped by Randy’s to grab sweet treats to bring down to the fam in the OC. I also scored some a-mazing succulents at Costco last weekend and delivered them to my Mom. Along with the delivery I got to check in on the potted arrangements I put together before our wedding a few years back. I think I may end up taking these up to the new place. Sorry ma.
