Portland Whirlwind: The Ace!

PEOPLE. The Ace Hotel in Portland is rad. It was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be. It was so cool to come “home” to a place that kinda actually felt a lot like home… especially after trudging around in the rain every day. Check this place out!

We spent quite a bit of time in the lobby, lounging on this huge sectional by the enormous windows. We were really diggin the comfy, worn-in military canvas the couch was covered in…. maybe even enough to consider making over one of our mid-C couches.

Awesome succulent/air plant arrangement in the lobby. Like I said, the Ace gets us.

Photo Booth! We try to hop in anytime we come across one. We’re acquiring quite the collection!

Possibly one of my favorite chandeliers in the world. I wantz it.

Last stop, our room! Claw foot tub. Subway tiles. Malin & Goetz Peppermint Shampoo. Free Wi-Fi. Lots of wood. Cozy wool blanket. Slightly weird, hand-painted bird mural on the wall. Yeeeeeeeah boyeee.

Go stay at an Ace!!!!
