“Exit Through the Gift Shop”

That’s the title of Infamous UK street artist Banksy‘s first feature-length documentary. We had the pleasure of seeing it yesterday at the Arclight in Hollywood. It follows the odd and somewhat accidental career of Thierry Guetter, a.k.a. Mr. Brainwash, and his encounters with the likes of Banksy and Shepard Fairey. It’s a really entertaining look at the culture of street art both here in the U.S. and abroad. The trailer barely scratches the surface of what the documentary is really about, but the tagline of “The World’s First Street Art Disaster Movie” sums it up pretty well. Definitely go see it if you get the chance.
