DACE Spring 2010 from Dace on Vimeo.

Daydreaming about all the pretty little frocks from the Dace Spring 2010 collection. Wouldn’t it be fabulous to look so effortless and chic and… je ne sais pas, all the time? And drink coffee at sidewalk cafes? And have a dog with long floppy ears?

From Brazil, With Love

Romeu Silveira of From Brazil, With Love is an amazing artist who creates digital collages from high fashion magazines. There’s a ton of energy exuding from the artwork. Some of the pieces are really dense, but I prefer the more geometric and simplified pieces. You really do need to check out the collages in whole here to get a feel for what From Brazil, With Love is all about. See more samples of Romeu’s work after the jump:

Weekender

Took an extra day to get all these pics edited. We spent Friday evening celebrating Jess’s work promotion by nomming on delectable French finger food and wine at Ratata. In true French fashion, we sat around talking and drinking until closing time. Saturday was spent in the desert with family and friends celebrating the life of my grandmother – and playing with gadgets (my uncle works for Google so they give him all the latest and greatest to make new apps and programs for). This post’s a doozy so sit back and relax. Continue reading…

Pendleton

So yeah, Pendleton. I’ve been trying to incorporate some Native American (navajo rug)/Middle Eastern patterns (kilim) into our home for over a year now. I’ve just never found the colors I’m looking for at a price I’m willing to pay. Portland’s Pendleton Woolen Mills is prospering from the heritage brand revival taking place here in the states. This family owned mill has been producing wool blankets inspired by ancient Native American patterns for 140 years. Some of their patterns are really beautiful, and some are just a little too rustic for me, but that’s ok. Continue reading…

Tumblin’

Hey, hey, hey! Back from the desert. Snapped some quality pics in Joshua Tree. The J. Crew outlet was good to Jess in Cabazon. Quick shout out to the GBM Tumblr. If you’ve never strolled through our Tumblr, I highly suggest it. Get ready for some serious eye candy – no text just pics. We are constantly adding to it, so check back every now and then for more beautiful goodness.

Road Trip

Team Grizzly is hitting the road for a couple days… off to the desert to have a party in remembrance of Vada Mae. Not sure if we’ll manage to get any posts up while we’re out there but we guarantee there will be plenty of pictures to share upon our return.

Happy Weekend!

love,

Curt and Jess
