Grizzly Eats: La Sirena Grill
I think I’m just gonna come out and say it: This is our favorite Mexican food in all of SoCal.
I hope you all realize what a big deal this is. We are very particular about our Mexican food.
Here’s why LSG rocks: There are two locations in Laguna Beach, which is our favorite place to be. Both of them are really close to the ocean, and LSG is basically the perfect pre- or post-beach chow. Their food is all-natural, including grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, and organic rice and beans. They make a lot of efforts to use green/sustainable/recycled materials. The salsa bar is outrageously awesome. Shall I continue?
Anyway, we stopped by on Sunday after a lovely drive down the coast. Hubs got his standard carne asada burrito, the item with which he judges any Mexican restaurant, and I got a sope, which is something I hardly ever come across except at La Sirena. And it is muy delicioso.
To make our meal even more awesome, look who was there to hang out with us:
This is Leonardo. He was one of the cutest English Bulldogs I’ve ever seen. And I think he wanted some of my sope but I was like “no way, Leonardo. No sope for you!!!!”
