C-List to A-List

We picked up these awesome wicker Mies van der Rohe MR Lounge Chairs from a cubism artist in Culver City this morning. He kindly gave us a quick tour of his wonderful 2 bedroom mid-c home filled with modern art and furniture, before we stole the chairs for $40 – for the pair! God bless Craigslist!!! I’m not totally sure if they are authentic and the seller wasn’t sure either, but he did do a lot of his collecting from estate sales which often increases your chances of legitimacy. Any tips on how to find out if it’s the real deal?
These babies will being taking residency at our kitchen table (which will eventually be replaced – tulip table maybe?).
