Boskke’s Sky Planters
So if you haven’t already noticed, we here at GBM are kinda ga ga for cool house plants. And by “we” I think its just me – the Mrs. could go either way. These Sky Planters by kiwi designer Patrick Morris for his company Boskke are pretty impressive.
It’s a pretty interesting paradigm shift, but I wonder how the plants look after growing upside down for a long time? The herb garden method seems more viable since you’d be pruning off new growth and preventing the plant from growing weird as the it tries to correct its orientation. I do like how you don’t have to water as often.

Very cool, but what prevents dirt/water from seeping out the bottom, or should I say the top?

There’s a little cap/ring that holds in the dirt and lets the plant out. I guess it would drip if you over watered.
