Say Hello
Time to meet the Bear Cave’s latest additions! Our living room got a bit of a facelift this week and we’re quite pleased with the results. There are still a few more projects to complete but we are definitely making progress, kiddies…
First up is this crazy awesome cowhide rug. We’ve been itchin’ to get one of these for quite some time, and last week we finally took the plunge. It’s from ECowhides.com (well actually their Ebay store), and it was ours for less than $200. It adds a much-needed organic softness to a room full of straight lines, and the colors are just beautiful in person.
In case you’re wondering, the blue couch is an original Borge Mogensen (with new upholstery)… both of our Danish Mid-C couches were very lucky Craigslist finds.
This is the other new kid, a nice healthy air plant from California Cactus Center in Pasadena. This place is INCREDIBLE and I highly recommend a visit. The staff really know what they’re doing, plus they have a huge selection of succulents… and you already know how much we love our succulents.

Love the varieties of textures the plants in the room provide, Sansivaria, bromaliads, ararlias, pardon my spelling but I know my plants. great post keep um coming thanks
